What is Pole Fitness…

Pole Fitness (or Pole Dance) is a fun and rewarding form of exercise. Using your body weight to your advantage, you can build up strength, tone your whole body, and burn calories quickly. A relative of the horizontal beam used by gymnasts, the vertical pole is a more user-friendly, but still highly effective method of getting and staying in shape.




You don’t have to fit into any specific criteria to try pole – ladies and gents of all shapes, sizes and even ages can have a go. And when you consider how monotonous many gym/exercise classes can be, Pole Fitness classes with Halo always take place in a fun environment where laughter is plentiful!

We pride ourselves in how friendly and welcoming our classes are. We have a lovely group of students and you are guaranteed to feel at home from the moment walk through the door.

Class numbers are restricted to ensure you get the most out of your classes – more time on the pole and less time waiting for your turn.



Private lessons are also available if you want to try our pole on your own or with a friend before joining in a group class.

What to wear –

For your first couple of classes you will be ok to wear leggings or jogging bottoms with a t-shirt or vest top. After that shorts are preferred as you will be learning moves that require skin contact to enable you to grip the pole. Footwear – trainers or bare feet. Please remove all jewellery before class and do not moisturise on the day of your class.
